Charles Darby is an internationally renowned award winning Visual Effects Supervisor with decades of experience on Hollywood hits like Titanic, Harry Potter and Minority Report among several others. Charles’ trendsetting work as a leading luminary in visual story telling was appreciated by none other than the likes of James Cameron (Avatar, Titanic), Luc Besson (The Fifth Element) and Janusz Kaminski (Minority Report, Jerry Maguire) and Michael Bay (Transformers, Pearl Harbor) to name a few. With over 45 feature films under his belt, Charles Darby has created some of the most memorable visual effects in modern cinema for movies like “Armageddon”, “The Fifth Element”, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” to name just a few. Charles was awarded an Emmy for his work on HBO’s “Rome” in 2006. His aim with EyeQube is to build a Hollywood style effects house, employing its methods and proven pipelines within a world class company in India. In 2010 he and EyeQube won the IIFA Award for “Aladin” amongst other awards in 2010.

Vamsi oversees day to day functioning of EyeQube Studios. He has over 11 years of experience in melding systems and process in the CGI industry. Vamsi has designed, set up and managed the production pipelines at some of the leading visual effects and animation Indian studios. He is largely responsible for the present success story of the Indian visual effects and animation outsourcing industry. He has production and supervisory experience on shows like the US $ 100 million Spike Jonze’s production “Where the Wild Things Are”, Rakesh Roshan’s “Krrish” and Warner Brothers’ “A Sound of Thunder” among others. As the production head at Crest Animation, he oversaw the infant studio grow from a 15 man team to over 200 artists and was the Executive Producer on “Jakers” – the first 3D animated series to be delivered by a South Asian Studio and among the few Asian companies to pick up an Emmy and Annie Award. The other movies have gone ahead to win several awards including the EMMY, ANNIES, IIFA, ZEE and FILMFARE awards to name a few. Clients include Time-Warner, News Corp, Disney Asia and HLL among others.

PT began his career as an independent Visual Communication designer developing branding for TV channels and multi-national companies. He has fulfilled a variety of roles such as Computer Graphics Supervisor, Creative Lead Research and Development, Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor. PT works across multiple media be it stop-motion animation or complex 3D projects. In addition, he leads projects which are technically and creatively challenging.
